@captain k Yes very relatable for a new listener. When I was new,I kinda thought he stole ems style,but whwn you think about it,they have noticeable differences. You catch on his rap style like tone and his cadence maybe even some flows. However,he is a big influence of ems but puts his twist and his own messages into his music. You realize his lyrics aren't as witty as ems,he has symbolism and metaphors alot in his appearance,switches his flows alot,and different delivery. But when your a new listener you don't realize. Plus they are both from Detroit explaining their similarities in their rap styles.
@captain k he is different and it is why you have to go through his albums to see it. This song is different and connects to paid my dues which is different then norm for him. I do not recall eminem always being cuss free in all his music like NF. NF sports ripped jeans timbs and t shirts to his knees. His last album he had a shopping cart and his balloons all the time (which are his burdens) he sings only in songs like if you want love and trauma. Connects his videos like marvel movies albums later. This song connects to his 2017 outcast song. He has christian songs. Love songs. He is different and has his own style and voice. Eminems was more nasaly. Eminem cant really sing good. NF is from michigan and with the same accent as eminem. But according to you he needs to change being eminem and according to other change being 21 pilots token dax mac miller etc get my drift? He cannot do more than he has. It is his voice his accent since 2015 mansion album. He has his own style though and is more versatile than eminem. This is all he can do.
